Dubai Launches MENA’s First Tokenized Real Estate Project
Dubai has cemented its position as a pioneer in real estate innovation with the launch of the MENA region’s first tokenized property investment platform. The Dubai Land Department, in collaboration with Prypco and regulatory bodies including VARA and the Central Bank of the UAE, is spearheading this groundbreaking initiative through the Real Estate Sandbox.
The ’Prypco Mint’ platform represents a strategic fusion of traditional asset classes with blockchain technology, with Zand Digital Bank serving as banking partner for the pilot phase. This MOVE signals Dubai’s commitment to establishing regulated frameworks for digital asset adoption in core economic sectors.
By creating a licensed ecosystem for real estate tokenization, Dubai sets a new benchmark for institutional-grade blockchain implementation in emerging markets. The project demonstrates how regulatory clarity and public-private partnerships can accelerate the maturation of digital asset infrastructure.
